Support Public Trust

Public Trust is self-funded. A small donation keeps it going, so families' voices keep being heard. What support pays for, and what it never does.

Why we ask

We want Public Trust to last, and families' voices to keep being heard. It's free for everyone, shows no adverts, and takes no money from government, councils, inspectorates or anyone else it rates. That independence is what lets families trust what they read here, and what lets their experiences hold councils to account.

At the moment the site is self-funded. A small donation helps keep it going.

What your support pays for

  • Running the site and its database, and keeping it quick for everyone.
  • Keeping it secure, including independent security testing.
  • Checking ratings before they count towards a score.
  • The emails that let people confirm their ratings.
  • Keeping Ofsted and Care Inspectorate Wales information up to date.

What support never does

  • It never changes a score, or which ratings are published.
  • Supporters get no say over what the site says about any council.
  • We never show adverts, and never sell anyone's information.

How to support

You can give once, or monthly if you'd like, through Buy Me a Coffee. They take the payment on their own site, so we never see your card details, and you don't have to give your name. The privacy notice says what they tell us.

Public Trust isn't a registered charity, so support can't be Gift Aided.
