Accessibility statement
How accessible Public Trust is, what we know still needs work, and how to tell us about a problem.
Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control or magnification. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we've done
- Everything can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "skip to main content" link.
- Pages use clear headings and landmarks, and form errors are linked to the field they're about.
- Scores and inspection grades are always written in words. Colour is never the only way something is shown.
- Text can be enlarged, and pages work on small screens without scrolling sideways.
What we know still needs work
- The site hasn't had an independent accessibility audit yet. This statement is based on our own testing.
- Inspection reports we link to are published by Ofsted and Care Inspectorate Wales, often as PDFs, and their accessibility is outside our control.
Tell us about a problem
If something doesn't work for you, or you need information in a different format, contact us. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
